Flight Booking Consultant

We are looking for detail-oriented Booking Consultant to assist our clients with their yacht crew movement needs. The successful candidate will join a team providing flight planning and booking services, including sourcing, and suggesting flight options, answering client queries, and booking tickets.

To be successful as a Bookings Consultant you can work with minimal supervision, reliably adhere to work shift hours, and have excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.

 

Booking Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Assisting and advising clients who may be choosing from a variety of travel options.
  • Making reservations for seafarers based on their yacht’s requirements and budgetary allowances.
  • Checking the price and availability of suitable flights options on the clients’ desired travel dates.
  • Processing and sending confirmation details to clients.
  • Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
  • Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process.
  • Informing clients of ticket, seat, and luggage conditions.
  • Providing support when clients need to amend or cancel a reservation.

 

Booking Consultant Requirements:

  • Certified travel associate (CTA) or certified travel counsellor (CTC), preferred but not essential.
  • Experience working in sales or public relations, preferably in the yachting hospitality or travel industries but not essential.
  • Customer-service experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient with email management and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Flexible working hours.
